Visit to partners in Asia for growth, cooperation and quality.

In October 2024, Patrick and Michiel traveled to East Asia on behalf of Rodesta for an intensive visit to several key manufacturers and production partners. Rodesta now collaborates with around 19 specialized factories in the Far East, which makes personal contact and structured quality monitoring a top priority.
One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the so called national high-tech industrial development zones, specialized industrial areas where high-grade components are produced for the food and pharmaceutical industries. These facilities operate under strictly controlled conditions to manufacture parts that meet the highest hygienic and technical standards, including:
- Precision-turned parts and components
- Hygienic couplings (DIN 11851, SMS)
- Aseptic couplings (DIN 11864, DIN 11853)
- Tri-clamp connections (DIN 32676)
- T-pieces, bends, and reducers
- Bio-processing equipment (according to ASME BPE standards for pharmaceutical use)
Purpose of the visit: control, communication, and continuity
The trip focused on four core objectives:
- On-site quality control: inspecting production processes, material selection, and surface finish
- Clear communication: technical agreements on tolerances, surface roughness (e.g., Ra-values), packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Relationship management: strengthening collaboration through personal engagement and mutual trust
- Long-term strategy: securing continuity in quality and supply reliability
By being physically present at our production partners’ facilities, Rodesta ensures not only better quality assurance, but also greater agility in responding to technical challenges or specific customer needs. Moreover, it underlines our commitment to building a sustainable and professional supply chain, together with our partners.
